ECOSEP at 20: Integrating Science, Innovation & Clinical Excellence in Sports Medicine

The Organising Committee of the 10th ECOSEP & 5th EA4SD International Congress invites researchers, clinicians, dentists, physiotherapists, sports scientists, and all professionals involved in Sports Medicine, Sports Dentistry, Exercise Science, and Injury Prevention to submit abstracts for oral and poster presentations.

This landmark edition coincides with the 20-year anniversary of ECOSEP, making it a special opportunity to showcase high-quality scientific work and contribute to the advancement of our discipline.

Late-breaking abstracts may be accepted only for high-impact work, at the discretion of the Scientific Committee.

Types of Submissions

Oral Presentation

Authors selected for oral presentations will give an 8-minute talk followed by discussion.

Poster Presentation

Accepted posters will be displayed throughout the congress, with dedicated moderated poster walks.

Abstract Format Guidelines

All abstracts must be submitted in English and follow the structure below.

  • Title — sentence case, maximum 80 characters.
  • Authors & affiliations — full names; the presenting author is listed first.
  • Structured abstract — Introduction, Methods, Results, Conclusion. Maximum 300 words in total.
  • References — optional, maximum 3.
  • Figure or table — optional, maximum one (JPG, PNG or PDF).
  • Declarations — conflict of interest and funding acknowledgement, where applicable.

Review Process

  • All abstracts undergo double-blind peer review.
  • Criteria include scientific quality, originality, relevance and clarity.
  • The Scientific Committee reserves the right to assign accepted abstracts to oral or poster format.

Registration Requirement

Presenting authors must register for the congress by 15 August 2027 to ensure inclusion in the final programme.

During the 20-Year Anniversary Congress, the following awards will be presented:
